Artist's Description
This is an ocean fantasy, inspired by my photos of ocean waves and my love of turtles. It also incorporates Curvismo. It is painted on an oval 16 x 20 canvas and the photo placed on a neutral background for easier reproduction.
About Sherry Strong
I have always enjoyed art in all forms, music, moves, books and visual. I have only been a fine artist for a short time, since I retired from my nursing career. I moved to New Mexico and found an art instructor, Eddie Ramirez, and learned the basics from him. He is an excellent teacher. Then I was introduced to, Ricardo Chavez-Mendez, and his new art movement, Curvismo. I have really enjoyed his enthusiasm for art and teaching. I have expanded my abilities greatly under his instruction. I find my inspiration in nature, my dogs,photos from my travels and my imagination.
